How this site works

A reference site is only worth using if you can tell where its facts came from. This page says exactly that.

We do not host files

Every download on this site points at the project that published it: Mojang for Minecraft jars, PaperMC for Paper builds, Adoptium for Java. We store the URL, the file size and the checksum, and nothing else. Nothing is mirrored, repackaged, bundled with an installer, or served through a redirect that counts as ours. If a link does not go to an official host, that is a bug worth reporting.

Where the data comes from

Everything is imported from official APIs on a schedule and served from our own database. We never call an upstream API while rendering a page, so a slow or offline upstream cannot break the site, and our traffic never becomes their problem.

How we say what we do not know

Compatibility claims carry their evidence. A tick with a build number means that build genuinely exists and you can download it. “Declared” means the project says it supports that version without publishing a per-version build. When we have nothing, the cell says so instead of guessing. A confident wrong answer costs more trust than an honest gap.

Attribution and removal

Projects are attributed to their authors and linked back to the platform they publish on. Descriptions stay short summaries with a link to the original rather than a full copy. If you maintain a project listed here and want it removed or corrected, ask and it will be done; every project has a switch that takes it off the site entirely.
