Can your server upgrade yet?
One plugin that has not caught up blocks the whole upgrade, which is why this question is never about one plugin. Paste your plugins or mods folder, pick the version you want to move to, and we will name the ones holding you back.
Paste a list above. If you want to see the shape of the answer first, try it with six common plugins.
Frequently asked
What do I paste in?
Whatever you have. A directory listing of your plugins or mods folder, the output of the /plugins command, or names typed one per line. Version numbers, .jar extensions and platform suffixes are stripped before matching, so LuckPerms-Bukkit-5.4.102.jar and LuckPerms both work.
Does it work for mods as well as plugins?
Yes. Mods, modpacks, data packs and shader packs are matched from the same catalogue, and a list that is mostly mods gets the loaders that reach your target version instead of the server software that runs plugins.
What does “not recognised” mean?
We could not confidently match that name to anything in the catalogue. It usually means a private plugin, one from a marketplace we do not index, or a name too mangled to read. It does not mean the plugin is incompatible: it means we are not going to guess, because a wrong answer here costs you a broken upgrade.
Where does the compatibility claim come from?
The author's own release metadata on Modrinth, Hangar or SpigotMC, which is the same data their download page shows. We never infer support from a version number in a filename.
A plugin says it is behind but I know it supports the version
Some platforms record supported versions coarsely, and SpigotMC in particular lists a handful of tested versions rather than all of them. Where the same plugin is published in several places we take the one with the widest declared coverage, but the underlying claim is still the author's.
