Question 1

Do I need to install Better Dried Ghast on the client or the server?

Accepted Answer

The client only. There is nothing to install on the server side. That is the author's declared design, not a guarantee for every server: one running anti-cheat or missing a counterpart mod can still object.

Question 2

What licence is Better Dried Ghast under?

Accepted Answer

CC-BY-4.0, as stated by the author on the platform we synced it from. Check the project's own page before redistributing or bundling it.

Question 3

How do I install Better Dried Ghast?

Accepted Answer

Download the file from the author's own release, put it in your resourcepacks folder, and enable it in Options, then Resource Packs. No loader is involved; check the pack targets your Minecraft version so textures do not fall back to defaults.

Question 4

Where do I download Better Dried Ghast safely?

Accepted Answer

Start with the author's page on Modrinth, which is where the data here is synced from. MCReference does not host or repackage files. The download link goes to the source recorded for that release; verify the publisher, filename and checksum before running it.

Question 5

Which Minecraft versions does Better Dried Ghast work on?

Accepted Answer

The author has not declared a supported version in the metadata we sync, so there is nothing here we can state as fact. Check the project's own page before installing it, and treat an old resource pack with no declared version as untested on modern Minecraft.
